Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) has appointed Steer to their Transport Professional Services Framework.

The London Borough of Sutton commissioned Steer to develop an Electric Vehicle (EV) Strategy for Sutton Town Centre. The objective of the study was to recommend the location and type of electric vehicle charging infrastructure within the study area with particular focus on the application of the Ultra-Low Emission Vehicle (ULEV) policy and electric vehicle charging infrastructure suitable for user needs.

The University of Warwick commissioned Steer to provide a fresh approach to the development of a long-term masterplan to support the growth of the campus of over 30% by 2035.

Undoubtedly, the COVID-19 pandemic has imposed a sudden stop to our daily routine and reshaped our mobility needs and priorities.

Steer supported West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) in developing a Future Mobility Strategy for the Leeds City Region. Future Mobility considers how innovation and technology can help to create a better, fairer, and greener transport system that meets the range of needs of people in the region.

Steer was commissioned by Urban Transport Group (UTG) - a network bringing together the UK’s largest city region transport authorities including Greater Manchester, Liverpool City Region, London, Tyne and Wear, Sheffield City Region, West Midlands and West Yorkshire - to conduct research on the legal and regulatory framework for smart futures on transport.

Steer has been closely involved in the development and refinement of the Annual Surveys for CoMoUK.  We have worked with CoMoUK and incorporated feedback from within the industry to further develop the surveys.

Steer was commissioned by Brighton and Hove City Council to develop a business case and plan for the expansion and modernisation of the existing bike share system in the region, called BTN BikeShare in 2020.

The South East of Scotland Transport Partnership (SEStran) commissioned Steer to develop a Mobility Hubs Strategic Study for the region. SEStran covers eight local authorities including the City of Edinburgh and seven other authorities with a mixture of dense urban and sparse rural area.
