Read morePeter has over 25 years’ experience in the aviation and rail sectors. He is an expert in demand, revenue and operating cost forecasting, pricing and ticketing, economic regulation and competition policy.
Peter started his career at British Airways covering both commercial and operational roles. Following a few years in telecommunications, he returned to transport as a consultant, joining Steer in 2006. Peter’s experience includes airport transactions across the world (e.g. Stansted, Sao Paulo, Madagascar, Nice), reviews of airport operating costs for regulators in the UK and Ireland, external aviation and competition policy cases for the European Commission, studies for the African Development Bank and analytical support for airports including Heathrow and Berlin. In rail, Peter has supported some franchise bids for both bidders and, more recently, reviewing bid plans for the UK Department for Transport.
At Steer, Peter is a senior member of the aviation team, supporting both policy and transaction projects.
