Who's driving the future?

To mark 20 years of Steer in Italy, we celebrated with our first Movement Matters event in Europe, Bologna, last month.

The anniversary was not only an important moment to celebrate the projects of the Italian offices, but also to reflect on the dynamics of mobility, infrastructure and transport in the coming years and how these will change our cities and our habits.

The session opened with the Welcome of Marco Concari, Head of Italy, who took stock of the most significant projects and emphasised the company's privileged position on the issues of new mobility, followed by three presentations from our speakers Riccardo Bobisse, Fred Beltrandi and Lucia Manzi reflecting on the topic of ‘Who’s driving the future?’.

You can read a full written PDF report of the event here: 'Who's driving the future?' event summary (PDF)

You can also find a copy of our ‘Who’s Driving?’ Manifesto in the following article: Steer produces a manifesto for city centres in the age of the Driverless Car.

Below are various projects we have worked on over the course of 20 years in Italy, including a selection of images from the event.
