Devolution of Local Major Schemes Funding: Indicative Funding Levels Published

The DfT published indicative funding levels for Local Transport Bodies taking and confirmed the geographical areas for these bodies.

On Wednesday 23rd January 2013 the DfT published indicative funding levels for Local Transport Bodies taking and confirmed the geographical areas for these bodies. Funding totals £1.1 billion for the Spending Period 2015 to 2019. Around one third of the funding is going to areas receiving £40m or move with another third to areas receiving less than £25m over the four year period.

Indicative Funding Levels

 

Included in the list were allocations for the four areas who have negotiated 10-year funding allocations through their City Deals. This totals a further £577 million.
