Sanuj Mittal joins Steer in India

Sanuj MittalSteer is delighted to welcome Sanuj Mittal as a Principal Consultant within our offices based in India.

With a background of working across the spectrum of the transportation sector, Sanuj has led cross-functional teams, managed projects and client relations, and advised private sector entities, governments, and multilateral agencies across sectors covering Aviation, Ports & Logistics, UAV Mobility, and Roads.

Sanuj has over eight years of experience, mainly focussing on policy advisory, business and revenue strategy, feasibility studies, project finance, project structuring, and PPP transaction advisory (buy-side and sell-side). His experience in managing projects spans developing countries in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

He has been involved in some of the emerging segments in the transportation sector, such as Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV). In his previous role, where he was responsible for strategic planning and business development, he worked on projects related to UTM, UAM, and drone-based delivery for the hyper logistics segment.

In Sanuj’s earlier career, he played an instrumental role in formulating and implementing the Regional Connectivity Scheme (aimed to enhance air connectivity with regional and remote areas) at a national level for the Ministry of Civil Aviation, India. Sanuj has also advised the airports/ regulators on matters related to regulatory assessment, tariff determination, revenue enhancement and financial viability. Similarly, in other sectors, he has advised clients on business strategy, project due diligence, and project implementation via the PPP route.

Sanuj, based on his experience of various assignments spanning the lifecycle of a transportation and infrastructure project, from project conceptualization to implementation to operations, brings a comprehensive understanding of his approach.
