Projects

Steer and joint venture partner, Hatch, have been responsible for delivering +/- 30% design and +/- 15% cost estimation certainty, as well as business case development to secure funding for both the Surrey LRT, Newton-Guildford Line and the Surrley-Langly Rapid Transit Line.

Projects

Steer provided the ridership and revenue analysis for the proposed PATH extension to Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR).

Projects

From 2013 to 2015, Steer conducted a ridership, revenue and economic benefits study of a proposed high-speed train service between Minneapolis-St. Paul and Duluth, Minnesota. Steer worked with the Minnesota DOT to provide realistic and transparent forecasts that could be accepted and defended as the project applied for federal funding.

Projects

Steer was commissioned to conduct a comprehensive review of existing access arrangements at all Go Transit stations. This included station profiles detailing the current issues for access by each mode (walking, cycling, transit, pickup/drop-off, park and ride) and how these issues will change with the increased service levels.

Projects

We are supporting the Federal Railroad Administration in partnership with the U.S. Department of Transportation Volpe National Transportation Systems Center in the development of a guidance document for intercity passenger rail ridership forecasting services to help facilitate the preparation of service development plans for passenger rail services spanning multiple states.
