Nuovo Parcheggio Station is located opposite Bologna's new high-speed rail station. Previously known as ‘Parcheggio Carracci’, the car park operators wished to exploit the opportunity presented by the new high-speed line to attract rail users and make the car park their obvious choice.

Ferrovie Emilia Romagna SrL (FER) manages the regional railway infrastructure in Emilia Romagna, Italy, and covers the second largest network in the country. The company was created in 2012 from the amalgamation of different departments of other local transport companies and, although it gave itself a logo, it had never considered its values or how these should be presented.

Ealing Broadway station is a complex, multi-modal interchange in West London with high numbers of passengers transferring between modes. To improve the interchange experience, the local council commissioned us to design and implement transport information column to communicate real-time departures and service quality for rail and tube services.

Fiona’s work involves scoping, designing and delivering transport solutions that support decarbonisation, encourage best use of our transport network’s capacity, and help to create better places. She specialises in freight strategy and planning, which includes developing freight strategies for local and sub-national authorities; facilitating co-operation between the freight and public sectors; and the evaluation of initiatives for cleaner and more efficient goods movement.

Adrian has 38 years of experience in transport planning, traffic engineering and interchange design. He has worked worldwide for public and private sector clients.

Adrian joined Steer from SKM Colin Buchanan and Halcrow, where he worked on a range of transport planning and development-related projects. He has particular expertise in London, the South East and East Anglia and has led major projects for Canary Wharf Group, Land Securities, British Land, Lend Lease, Westfield, Transport for London, London boroughs, district and county councils and unitary authorities.
