Steer is leading a team that is assisting Boston Harbor Now in planning an expansion of the water transportation system that best meets the needs of the region’s residents and visitors at efficient levels of service and costs.

Steer was tasked with developing a Benefit-Cost Analysis (BCA) framework and modeling tool for Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT) that would be used by all applicants to the Rail Enhancement Fund (REF) program.

Steer was appointed to develop a Business Case for widening this section of Highway 7.

Tasked by the MTA, Steer worked as part of a team led by KPMG to estimate the social, economic and environmental benefits to the region from investing in MTA transportation infrastructure. 

Steer, supported by Hatch, was appointed to develop a Preliminary Business Case for Toronto-Windsor High Speed Rail (HSR).

Steer worked collaboratively with the Oregon Metro team and core Regional Travel Options (RTO) Program stakeholders to understand the full benefits and impacts of the program.

Steer's team of strategists, economists, and designers have worked collaboratively with Metrolinx on the development of revised Business Case Guidance.

Steer was part of the team appointed to provide Preliminary Design & Engineering (PDE) services for the Hurontario LRT project.

Steer worked with Metrolinx on the development and evaluation of potential integrated fare structures.
