Edmund Cassidy

Edmund is responsible for Steer’s client relationships in London. He works across strategic planning, business case, and the integration of land use and transport planning. He has worked extensively with public sector organisations across the UK, including local authorities, combined authorities, and sub-national transport bodies, helping them develop strategies that improve connectivity, increase equity and support sustainability goals.

Edmund is an expert in understanding his clients' wider goals and transport objectives, combining robust economic analysis with focused stakeholder engagement to achieve consensus on strategies, plans and investments.

Edmund leads Steer’s work as technical advisor to both Transport for the South East and England’s Economic Heartland delivering programmes of placed based transport strategies culminating in Investment Plans. Other recent projects include transport strategy development for London boroughs of Harrow, Hounslow and Barnet and Local Transport Plan development in Southend and East Sussex.
