The Union Pearson (UP) Express began operation in June 2015, in time for the 2015 Pan American Games. The service travels between Toronto's Union Station and Pearson Airport calling at Bloor and Weston stations.

Projects

Steer was commissioned with our mapping partners, T-Kartor, by the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) to improve and systematise the design of their local transit network diagrams and posters. Key to this assignment was the opportunity to integrate the TO360 wayfinding map base to provide consistent information across different transportation environments and modes.

Projects

Toronto’s PATH is the world’s largest underground retail complex. It connects the office towers in Downtown Toronto, Canada and provides an important contribution to the economic viability of the city's downtown core. The system links seamlessly with public transit, and experiences more than 200,000 business-day commuters, and thousands of additional tourists, visitors and residents.

Projects

The Steer design team was approached by Luton Borough Council to develop a visual identity and wayfinding signage system for The Vale Cemetery and Crematorium on the outskirts of Luton town centre. This was the first time we had ever worked on such a project but were happy to accept the challenge!

Projects

San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) commissioned Steer to develop a Transportation Demand Management (TDM) plan to help manage congestion in the North Coast Corridor (NCC) during the implementation of a comprehensive package of highway, rail, transit, environmental protection, coastal access improvements and to act as a foundation for travel behaviour change in the corridor. Our design team developed a project identity (TDM brand) to support communication of the project to local target audiences.

Projects

The Steer design team produced a travel information pack for Lend Lease. The travel information pack presents the benefits of travel to an office location in Stratford.

Projects

The Steer design team has worked with Regent’s University London since November 2015 to develop a site-wide wayfinding system. The key objective of the work is to deliver a comprehensive wayfinding system that will improve the visitor and student experience while projecting the University's unique character.
