Crossrail is Europe’s largest transport project, delivering a new 21km underground urban railway and connections to the existing UK national rail network, increasing capacity of London’s transport network by 10% along with transforming the city-region’s connectivity. 

Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) runs a model of public transport in Manchester to help plan and evaluate their public transport service provision.

In order to plan new cycling infrastructure that best serves the need of London, in terms of existing, potential and future cycling demand, Transport for London (TfL) conducted a study to identify a pan-London Strategic Cycle Network. A key feature of this study was mapping outputs from TfL’s innovative new Cycle Network Model for London (CYNEMON).

Tasked by the MTA, Steer worked as part of a team led by KPMG to estimate the social, economic and environmental benefits to the region from investing in MTA transportation infrastructure. 

TAC commissioned Steer to create the “Small Communities Transit Guidelines”.

Steer worked collaboratively with the Oregon Metro team and core Regional Travel Options (RTO) Program stakeholders to understand the full benefits and impacts of the program.

Steer's team of strategists, economists, and designers have worked collaboratively with Metrolinx on the development of revised Business Case Guidance.

Steer developed and costed a concept for a single-route, two-bus system, and created ridership and revenue estimates for the Town of LaSalle.  

Steer was part of the team appointed to provide Preliminary Design & Engineering (PDE) services for the Hurontario LRT project.

Steer worked with Metrolinx on the development and evaluation of potential integrated fare structures.
