Having served on the Executive and then Board at Steer for the last ten years, Sharon is currently Portfolio Director responsible for delivering on a range of corporate change initiatives as part of the Executive Team at Steer. These initiatives use Sharon’s expertise in building organisational capability, developing and evolving skills and service lines for clients, and acquiring and integrating teams and businesses into the Steer group.

Simon is an expert in regulatory economics and has over 30 years’ experience in the application of economic principles to the regulation of transport services.

Sonia is a key member of the Italian office management team. She has contributed to the business's success and has been involved in our key projects in Italy across all modes of transport. 

As a transport engineer, Sonia is an expert in demand and revenue forecasting and has worked as a project manager and project director, successfully advising public and private clients in various transport modes: toll roads, public transport, passenger rail and aviation.

Stefan is a consultant with extensive experience in the application of economic principles to the regulation of transport and infrastructure.

His work has addressed a range of issues including governance, competition, cost efficiency, service quality and consumer protections. With a focus on aviation, Stefan has worked with private and public sector clients supporting them on asset transactions and the due diligence of business plans, the application of price controls and incentive mechanisms, the evaluation and reform of market regulations, and the development of policy.

Tom has extensive experience in transport planning and economics. Tom has an excellent understanding of how transport can meet wider economic, social, and environmental outcomes, and enjoys working with colleagues and clients to develop schemes and strategies to help achieve these, providing evidence-based analysis to support investment decisions and policy development across a range of sectors, including rail, highways, and urban transport.

Alex has over 20 years’ experience working in both the public and private sectors. His specialisms lie in the use of data and detailed modelling to guide the development of roadspace reallocation measures that enhance active travel and public transport journeys.

Matthew is an internationally recognised specialist in the benefits and impacts of new mobility. His expertise helps the private and public sector to understand and capture the potential economic, societal and environmental benefits and impacts of new business models.

Ursula is a Transportation Engineer who holds a Master’s in Engineering Sciences, also in transportation, from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. With a well-established career in transportation planning consultancy, she has specialized in infrastructure and transportation services in Latin America. She currently serves as Director and Operations Leader for Latin America at Steer.

Samuel is a transport modeller with over 20 years’ experience in the transport planning, toll road and infrastructure sectors. He supports our infrastructure offer in Santiago, working for concessionaires, government agencies and other private companies.
