Daniel is a Principal Consultant and transport economics specialist based in our London office. He has a strong technical background in civil engineering and extensive experience in the transport consultancy sector in the United Kingdom. Daniel’s experience includes economic and social impact appraisal of transport schemes, business case development, independent technical review, data processing and visualisation, and traffic modelling.
Daniel has led economic appraisals for public transport, active mode, public realm, and highway schemes, following HMT and DfT guidance, working for clients such as local authorities, sub-national transport bodies and the UK government. Examples of this include extensions to tram networks in Edinburgh and Birmingham, bike share schemes in Brighton and Leeds, and delivery of electric buses in Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire.
Daniel has a strong technical skill set, which he applies in independent technical review and assurance work, and in projects involving intensive data processing, analysis and visualisation. He is experienced in the use of R, GIS-based tools and Power BI for these tasks. Daniel is an experienced Project Manager and has the APM Project Management Qualification.
