Scott joins Steer Davies Gleave from Atkins – he is a development planning specialist and a Chartered Civil Engineer. He has a track record of advising clients on how to successfully progress the transport planning and highway engineering aspects of development projects through the planning process, from feasibility, planning consent and ultimately construction.

Most recently, he has been instrumental in delivering successful planning consents for a number of high profile West End projects such as One Eagle Place, Regent Street Blocks W4 and W5 South  and St James’s Market.  He has led many Central London projects for clients including The Crown Estate, Land Securities, Stanhope, Exemplar, Firmdale Hotels, The Peabody Trust and Merlin Entertainments.

Lisa Buchanan, Head of Planning Division said, “I am extremely pleased to welcome Scott Marshall – he brings with him valuable experience to support our growing portfolio of development planning projects, and his appointment comes as Steer Davies Gleave expands its development planning offer in the UK and worldwide.”

Steer Davies Gleave’s recent development planning projects include: the transport strategy for Battersea Power Station which has just begun construction; preparing transport assessments and travel plans to support the successful Planning Application for the Shell Centre development in London; and providing advice on the Centre Point development and associated urban realm scheme which has just gained Planning Permission.
