Steer welcomes Jiji Kottommannil to Steer North America.Steer is delighted to welcome Jiji Kottommannil to our New York City office and North American business. Jiji will apply his extensive travel demand modeling experience throughout our portfolio of projects in North America.

Jiji brings almost two decades of expertise in travel demand modeling and forecasting. He has spearheaded modeling efforts for Departments of Transportation, Metropolitan Planning Organizations, transit and toll road agencies in 20 states across the U.S. and has utilized travel demand models for traffic and revenue studies, transit ridership forecasting and contributed to several model development projects. He has advised several agencies on the traffic impact of various road pricing, demographics, roadway and transit improvement policies.

Jiji recently delivered traffic and revenue forecasts to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development as part of the I-10 River Bridge Toll Feasibility Study that helped support the advancement of the project from preliminary feasibility to the Public-Private Partnership (P3) project development stage.

We are looking forward to seeing Jiji leading teams providing industry-leading demand and revenue modelling and forecasting advice to our clients.

Steer's North American Regional Director, Alasdair Dawson said;

Jiji brings significant experience to our team from well-respected organizations in the industry and as a result of successful projects. We’re excited to be building on that with Jiji both within North America and internationally.
